Hey girl! Thanks for asking about, me on my page, I haven't managed to be on SP much lately, which is weird since I have nothing but TIME! But the saying is true, about getting more done, when you have more to do! :) As I am sure you know, I am still in recoup mode, but almost back to health with the hip. I am going to start slow with some upper body ST and stuff, until I know I can do more. :) I am not giving up the healthy life, just learning better to balance it and stop and smell the roses along the way. :)

Thanks for thinking of me. I had foot surgery last Fri. (see my blogs) so had been busy preparing for that and am now in recover mode. Since I live alone, I was concerned about maintaining my independence since I can't bear any weight on my left leg now for 4-6 weeks. Everything I do takes more time and effort and I get worn out more easily. Hopefully that will subside as I get my strength back! It's just been a few days. Anyway, I'm trying to watch what I eat, but can't really exercise yet. I have a positive outlook, and will get back at it as soon as I am able.

Thanks for your complimentary comment on my Spark page. It's amazing what happens to the firmness of a body when one cuts back on exercise! I've become a bit more "fluffy" lately, but haven't lost my confidence in my ability to get to my goal some day!

As far as adding more veggies, that's always a challenge for me too. I do love soup, and like to make chicken vegetable. I also enjoy black beans and have tried various recipes using them (taco soup for example). Soup makes a nice, filling lunch. Also, try adding a veggie to your breakfast ~ like mushrooms/broccoli in a scrambled egg. Yum! Check out Spark's veggie recipes! Hope that helps!

Good luck with the positive self-talk! It really does work when I use it regularly!
