My Goals:
Even though my ticket only shows a goal of about 50 lbs weight loss, I am targeting to lose more than that. I figure if I measure it out in smaller bulks at a time, the goal seems more easily obtainable. Once I've reached my 1st goal, I'll set another one :) I figure my ultimate goal will be to lose about 80lbs.

My Program:
I have realized that I need to do things that fit into my schedule, otherwise I'll eventually fall off the wagon & go back to old habits.

Right now, my primary goal is to count calories every day, swimming every other day (for at least 30 minutes, more if time allows) and in the mornings on the weekend, take my dog for a walk.

Not too challenging of a program but it's something that I can stick to, which I have realized is more important than anything.

Personal Information:
I'm in my early 30s, I'm married, no kids yet. I have 1 dog, 1 parakeet and 2 turtles.



Other Information:
** I'm a writer. I have several novels written and am working towards publishing someday.

**Love big trucks -- I have a blog about big rigs, not sure what the deal is but they fascinate me. They're gorgeous.

**I'm a diehard Anaheim Angels fan! (Trying to give up the Angels dogs and the beer ;-))

**Love POISON & Bret Michaels -- but I'm also a big fan of other hairbands like Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Firehouse & Skid Row

Hey Laila!

Are you still around? I was gone for a long time, but I'm back and was thinking of you. I hope that you are doing good. A lot has changed in my life since I was here 3 years ago. I gained back all the weight + some, but I lost all of it and I am now back exactly to the same weight where I left off.

I hope you're still around and can write soon...take care!

Hey fellow swimmers, have you seen that we have a September challenge going? Come join the thread. Lets loose some pounds, get healthy and have fun doing it! If you’ve fallen off the wagon lately, now is the perfect time to get back on.

About Cravings- Sometimes I find it better just to feed the craving and be done with it. I still count it and track it but- it is then out of my system. It works for me.

I'm sending love to all my Ruby gals and encouraging you to start planning for your goals. Goals are dreams with deadlines!

My new goal is to complete a tri-sprint next summer. I am planning now!

Mini goals are so important. This week my goals are to:

1. Say NO to working any extra- I need me time!
2. Track all of my food this week- I got sloppy last week!
3. Run 12 miles and go to water aerobics twice.
