If At First You Don't Succeed

Like many, I've tried to get control of this weight and return to a state of optimum health many times. And I've reverted to the comfortable habit patterns that got me here. To paraphrase someone else, "My behavior is perfectly organized to get me to this exact state." So, time to adopt some new behaviors... and learn to love them! Learn it, live it, love it.

My Goals:
1.) Body Weight - Long Term
Reach my goal of 10% body fat (probably 165 lb) by Dec 2011.
Mid-Term Goal - Reach 193 by the end of Jan 2011. Short Term Goal #1 - 203 lbs by the end of Dec. Short Term Goal #2 Cardio 3x per week each week. Short Term Goal #3 Strength training 2x per week.
2.) Fitness Goal - Running Speed
Long Term Goal - run a 10 minute pace for 10k race by June 2011.
Mid Term - run a 12 min pace for 5k Race by end of March 2011.

My Program:
1. Combination of functional & strength training 3-5 days/week
2. Running 3+ days a week.
3. Long run up to 10 miles
4. Spark Diet
5. Spark Program

I live in Beaverton, Oregon and work in high tech sales.

I graduated from U of Missouri in Columbia (Mizzou) and am a big fan!
