My travels, my blogs!

Hello and welcome to my Spark Page. I found Spark People by accident in 2008. Unfortunately, back then, due to family matters and other things, I had been more "off" the site than "on". I am happy to have found this web site in that it is completely changing my lifestyle: eating, exercise and everyday habits. I am on a long lifestyle changing journey (remembering that it is a marathon and not a sprint). I have lost over half the weight I wish to lose in this journey and I know, with God's help ...
I have lost over half the weight I wish to lose in this journey and I know, with God's help and the help of my Spark Friends, I will reach my goal sooner than later. God Bless everyone as you take your own personal journeys and I know, like me, you will succeed in everything that you attempt.

My Goals:
To learn to completely change my lifestyle - to eat healthier, to exercise and to cut down on life's everyday stressors.

My Program:
Watching what I eat and exercising (mainly walking and the stationary bike). Thinking positive thoughts rather than negative ones. Using SP's nutrition and fitness trackers daily. I also meditate and read my Bible at least once a day.

Personal Information:
I keep my days full and relaxing using music and meditation as much as possible. I love Spark People and the great and supportive friends I have met here. My goal is to get back to my "high school" weight and fitness level, where I played football and baseball.

Other Information:
I like to relax to old movies and classic TV comedy shows. I love classic rock but not into hip-hop and rap music nor am I into the majority of the newer TV shows. In fact, I don't watch much TV at all.

Let's just say it was a long day but I'm feeling pretty good. We took two vehicles and I rode solo on the drive home. I nearly fell asleep at the wheel. I took a mini snooze after dropping the tuba off at the high school. DS brought it home for the summer to practice and use for parades.

I lost track of your location. You were border jumping. My guess is you are back in Canada. Am I correct?

DS has band camp this week and then begins his senior year of high school next week. Time sure does fly. Seems like the two teens were just toddlers. Glad you enjoyed pictures of the past & future.
