I am a fiber artist who would rather play with fluff than be fluffy herself!

I am no stranger to the dieting carousel. I've been at least somewhat overweight for most of my life. I know how to lose - I like to read and I like to research, so I am pretty well educated when it comes to this stuff. But knowing is not doing, and that's where I have always failed.

I am no stranger to the dieting carousel. I've been at least somewhat overweight for most of my life. I know how to lose - I like to read and I like to research, so I am pretty well educated when it comes to this stuff. But knowing is not doing, and that's where I have always failed.

Over the past few years I've slowly been cleaning up my habits - eating wholesome, minimally processed, REAL foods. But I still ate too much (darn you, cheese! my greatest nemesis! *shakes fist*) and didn't exercise.

This past spring I joined a gym and began going sporadically, then a little more consistently but only for 15 or 20 minutes at a time, and now I'm finally up to exercising at least 30 minutes, 4-5 days per week. I began tracking in May and tweaking my diet and I feel like what I'm doing now is totally sustainable for life. And the best part is, it seems to be working!

So the new me has been a long time in the making, but I'm excited to see where I end up.

My Goals:
I'm aiming to lose about 70 pounds and get fit and healthy and strong in the process

My Program:
As much whole, unprocessed food as possible, with the occasional treat :) Plus 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days per week, and I really need to step up my strength training program.
