Hi,my name is Janet and I am in my 60's and want to be in better shape. I'm tired of being tired out so much. I love gardening, reading, scrapbooking and making cards.
I have four grown children and 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, my husband has 5 grown children, and 10 grandchildren which gives us a total of 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. We are blessed to have such a wonderful family.

My Goals:
I want to slowly lose 60 lbs. and get my self fit enough that I can walk and work in the yard without getting worn out.
I need to remember that God will help me to reach my goal.

My Program:
I am writing down what I eat and starting a slow excercise program. Mostly walking, streches, and some exercises my dr. gave me to strengthen my whole body.

Other Information:
Love to work in my garden, flowers are a girls best friend :).
I spend a lot of time making cards to swap, working on scrapbooks and reading. Love Science Fantsy books (certain authors) and books by Northwest authors.

emoticon emoticon emoticon Well, with fall in the air and the emoticon summer coming to an end. I know for myself its time to get back to indoor activities and allowing all of you to become my mentors again. I am not good at being an indoor person in the summer as my Garden, Canning and other activities keep me very busy.

So!! After September I plan to involve myself more on the Daily Chat message boards. There is no better support than what we all give each other to help us reach our goals.

"Take time to explore the site. Become familiar with all the wonderful tools available to help you on your journey, such as the food tracker and the exercise tracker. Also, concentrate on mastering your three 'Fast Break' goals: drinking 8 cups of water per day, going for a walk, not eating in front of the TV...whatever three goals you have chosen. Try to make those goals daily habits over time." I do hope to see more of you and you see more of me as we travel down this Journey of getting healthy and feeling better.
Remember MOTIVATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.

Janet, I have had fun with the word game. I leave tomorrow (Lord willing) for the states for about six weeks. I'll check in when I can.
