**Starting Over** January, 2012

I am back after 3 years, and gaining all of the 50 pounds I had lost. Boo.

I've decided to change my goals to being fitness oriented, instead of weight oriented. I have found that constantly focusing on the number on the scale makes me crazy!!

I'm also done with counting calories, etc. It was a helpful tool at first to see what I was actually eating, but again, ...

So, the scale is in the attic, and my weight ticker and nutrition tracker are gone.

I am starting the couch to 5k running program. My goal is to work up to running 30 mins, 3 times a week, and then run the Ukrops 10k in March, 2013, the year I turn 40.

And away I go!

My Goals:
1. Finish Couch to 5k program.

I have stopped weighing myself. That's right...the scale is put away. Focusing on that number makes me nuts, so I am concentrating on other things.

I'm currently doing the Couch to 5k program, and want to run my local 10k next march.

My name is Heather, and I'm a 38 year old stay at home mom of two young boys.

Other Information:
I like to read, cross stitch, embroider, quilt, and now I've taken up running. I love to hang out with girlfriends, and laugh and have a good time with them.

My golden retriever is my current exercise buddy. She needs it too!

Hi!
My 40th goal is to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon. I am training for my first 10k now and hill just keep at it until I can do the half in Feb 2014.
