A Change for Life

I am a stroke survivor. I lost my whole right side and had to learn to walk again. By the grace of God I am so much stronger today. I do have several medical issues that I am still dealing with, most importantly, type 2 diabetes. I am ready for a change.

Thanks for the comment on my page. Going to JASR was a little scary, but I had my husband with me. There were two friends I really wanted to meet, so every one else was a bonus. I've gotten to know more people since I have been back home.
Sparkfriends are funny in a good way. They understand your inner feelings about yourself and what you are trying to do with your life. They are easier to talk to than your family sometimes. That being said, it is a scary thing to actually meet them in person.
After doing that though, I can say that I am glad I went and participated. I plan on going again next year. It's almost like a high school reunion that you actually WANT to go to!
Enjoy your journey, and let God guide you. He won't steer you wrong!

You asked where I got all my knowledge about diabetes...I read everthing I can about Diabetes and also dieting. I HAVE FOUND VERY USEFUL INFORMATION ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE FOODS, VITAMINS AND HERBS I put into my body. Thanks for reading and your comments I appreciate them.
