I have always been VERY athletic. As a kid there was always soccer, or basketball or even crew in high shcool. However after getting involved in so many other things in college, I couldn't seem to find the time for joining another team, which I'd always relied on as my source of daily exercise. I'd workout with friends here and there, but never stuck to a consistent routine.

Then the big one hit...I began dating an amazing chef. Well, needless to say the pounds just packed on after ...

I have always loved to exercise, but lately I have been something of a committment-phobe when it comes to working out. I have tried a couple of different programs, but haven't been able to stick to any. Well, here I am, again, and I am determined to see my excercise and weight loss goals through. Encouragement welcome!

How is the walking going? I've been amazed at how much has come off my hips as a result of daily walking !

Just wondering how it is going. Unlike you, I am a natural non-athlete, so I'm always fascinated by people like you and my husband who enjoy it. I am taking bellydancing lessons and enjoying those and I'm going to reward myself for 100 pounds down with trampoline lessons. It looks like fun, but I've always been too self-conscious to try it.
