My goal is to lose 30 lbs so that I can be living healthier......that was my goal when I initially joined in July 09. I've been more successful than even I imagined so I have increased my goal to 50 lbs weight loss total.

My strategy:
- drink my water
- no alcohol (except on very special occasions)
- track my calories
- make informed eating decisions
- exercise (walking) when I can
- take up a new sport (which I have - roller derby!)
- do ...

- start to run with the goal of doing a 5k by the end of 2012

I did have a slight set back in May when I broke my leg playing roller derby. I successfully managed to still lose some weight while on crutches for seven weeks and unable to weight bear. I've recovered nicely and am back to playing roller derby again which is a great work out and fabulous stress relief. Who knew I was so tough?!!!!

2011 Goals
- lose 20 plus more pounds. Dare I get to 135?
- Hike the Inca Trail and visit Macchu Piccu.
- Continue to wow everyone including myself!
- do yoga DVD's at home to work on my balance and strength
- train for a 5k

- tracking calories
- exercise

- very limited alcohol (no need for empty calories)
- roller derby and roller skating
- yoga
- attempt running (gawd help me)
