Fall down seven times, get up eight, right?

I'm a long-time Sparker who has yet to reach her goal. I've yo-yo'ed with the same 15-20 lbs, but I return to my "baseline" weight of 173 whenever I abandon Sparkpeople. I want to commit to the process like I did the day I first joined Spark, and make this the LAST time I start over.

In the past I've set myself up for failure by restricting too many food groups and calories, and by forcing myself to reach unrealistic daily caloric deficits. Any progress (though fast) was quickly undone, due to my INSANE binges that could stretch into weeks. I can easily scarf down 5,000-6,000 calories in one sitting without blinking an eye.

Therefore, my current major goals are simple: To stay binge free, and to complete the C25K program.

I am committing to the C25K program, so that I can train the proper way and avoid the injuries that have plagued me in the past from running.

Height: 5'8"

7.12.10 (W1) - COMPLETE!
7.19.10 (W2 -injury) - RECOVERED!
7.25.10 (W2, round 2) - COMPLETE!
8.2.10 (W3) - COMPLETE!
8.9.10 (W4)- OFF/VACATION
8.16.10 (W4)- COMPLETE!
8.23.10 (W5) - COMPLETE!
8.30.10 (W6)- COMPLETE!
9.6.10 (W7)- COMPLETE!
9.13.10 (W8)- COMPLETE! Ran 3.28 miles in 28 minutes... twice!

9.19.10-- Had to put the rest of my training on hold, due to plantar fasciitis

First 5K Race: 9/26/10, 13th Annual Moxie-thon 5K [CANCELLED due to injury :( ]

Not sure if you have heard, but I am pregnant. It has been a crazy 14 weeks thus far, but we are excited and blessed.

My workouts are still going. I am back to P90X with arms, legs, and Yoga. I also am working on adding in 10-15 miles per week for walks.

Food, has been okay, but each day I just take it one meal at a time.

Love to you,
E
