I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!
Check out the main page of the EE team- there are “stickied” topics you may be interested in to get involved- a buddy thread, a place to introduce yourself, weigh-in challenge, a birthday post.
Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success!
good evening. Just stop by to check out your page. I read your journal entry and thought i would stop by to say hey and let you know if you ever need someone to talk to I will be more than happy to talk. I am trying to lose 50lbs by next April but my ultimate goal is to lose a total of 93.8 lbs by the middle of next year. I hope to see you around Spark People. 2888 days ago
Hi and Welcome to the Emotional Eaters Team! I'm glad you've joined us. I think this is the best team on Spark! The people are awesome and will give you lots of support and encouragement. Check out the EE message boards and visit the members' Sparkpages for even more inspiration and motivation. Best wishes.....Myrna 2888 days ago
I'm so very glad that you've joined the Emotional Eaters Team. The team is a place where you can vent. And where you will receive some awesome support. Of course, I am biased ... its my favorite team at SparkPeople! I hope you find exactly what you are looking for! Welcome to the team!
Be sure to ask questions if you have them ... someone will likely have the answer. Use the tools SparkPeople provides. They are invaluable. If you feel an emotional eating attack coming on, come to the boards first. Write about it instead of pushing the feelings away with food. We're here for you!
