2/13/2013: I completed my second half marathon in November in Miami Beach. I've been working out at a local bootcamp for about 3 months, and I just began working with a Nutritionist for accountability and carb testing on my body. It was a feeling of accomplishment like no other. I'm excited to be back on track to lose my last 30-40 lbs. :D 8/24/11: I've lost 84 lbs so far; I'm in the 170s!!!!!!! WOOOO!!!!! I joined the Biggest Loser Challenge at FIU. I'm very excited! 8/3/11: Down 80 lbs! On my way to the 170s!! I've been doing Weight Watchers and working out a lot. :) 3/3/11: I've lost 75 lbs so far. I'm currently at 188 lbs and I just recently started my hardcore workouts again. I joined weight watchers in January, which has helped me take more control of my eating habits. I'm loving yoga and running at the moment, things I thought I would always hate! I love that SparkPeople has been there my entire journey, and the people I've met on this site have not only motivated me but helped me get to where I am. 1/11/11: I've lost 68 lbs so far. I'm currently at 195, and I've reset my goals for this year recently. Slowly but surely! I've found confidence and happiness that I thought I would never find. I feel great and I love to work out! What a difference a year can make! 2/18/10: I've lost 38 lbs so far. I have a long way to go but I'm feeling great and unstoppable! The most important thing is to take it one day at a time! I'm the lightest I've been since about 8 years ago (middle school!!). 7/13/2009: Hey, my name is Vanessa. I'm 21 years old and attend FIU UP Campus. I'm here to lose 100 lbs over the next year. I'm starting at 263 lbs. I'm 5'6".
