The New Year is upon us. I accomplished alot in 2010 despite a lot of difficult situations. In accomplishing my financial and educational goals, I slid into bad habits and let my nutrition and fitness goals fall by the wayside. To make matters worst in the last three months of 2010 I lost my sister, my job and miscarried about three weeks ago. I am now 20 pounds heavier.

2011 is here. I am determined to do this for myself as well as to honor my sister and the baby. I turn 40 in July and it would be nice to be at least 40 pounds lighter as a personal gift to myself. I plan to stay positive and push forward no matter what obstacles come my way. i can't let my future job and my school work sidetrack me. Mommy and Wife Time has to include Yolanda Time also. Time to put 2010 in the past and get that job, lose that weight and maybe in a year or two of healthy fit living perhaps have that final baby too!

GET MY GROOVE BACK GOAL
To lose 20 pounds OR a dress size (SIZE 16) by May 20 for my trip to Jamaica
INTERMEDIATE GOAL
Lose another 20 pounds OR another dress size (SIZE 14) by my birthday July 19th.

FORTY BY FORTY IS MY MOTTO! You'll hear it a lot from me.

ULTIMATE GOAL
Lose another 31 pounds OR two more dress sizes for a total of 71 pounds and size 10 by New Years 2012

I am a Weight Watchers Lifetimer I WILL MAKE LIFETIME AGAIN AND STAY THERE!

Daily:
Stick to WW Point Plus Drink eight glasses of water daily
At least 30 min of exercise at least 5 days a week
Plan meals for the following day

Weekly:
Weigh in on Mondays at WW only! No home weigh ins!
Reach goal of 350 fitness min -

Monthly:
Take measurements
Award myself if I achieve the following:
1. 5 pound weight loss for the month and/or
2. Achieve 1400 fitness minutes for the month

I'm a girly girl who likes to dress pretty but could always hang with the guys b/c I love sports and manly things too. Hey, I am complicated, lol.

I love African American fiction like Carl Webber then I go to the other extreme and enjoy Charlaine Harris and Dean Koontz

My favorite tv shows are True Blood, Walking Dead, Forensic Shows, Family Guy, Two and a Half Men. I love to be either tense or laughing.

Favorite Movie: Brown Sugar.
Favorite Movie right now: The Hangover, hands down. I heart Bradley Cooper.
I prefer Sci Fi, horror and comedy. Not the chick flick type at all.

I love all types of Music. Look at my Zune you will find Mary J, Blidge, Neo, Usher, Maroon 5, 3 Doors Down, Evanesence, Rolling Stones, Duran Duran and anything in between!
