It's About Time!!

Well, this is round two of weight loss on SparkPeople for me. I lost 30 pounds using SP over a year ago and was feeling great! I got down to 164 pounds (started at 194)! I just had 20 pounds left to go. And then I got pregnant. And I gained it all back, plus 20 more pounds on top of it. Ugh. : (

So here I am again, trying to keep a positive attitude and do it again! I know I can lose this weight, because I've done it once before.

So here I am again, trying to keep a positive attitude and do it again! I know I can lose this weight, because I've done it once before.

After I had my baby, I weighed 215 pounds and I'm down to 197 without actually trying. I haven't wanted to actively try to lose weight because I'm breastfeeding and I was nervous about establishing a milk supply. Plus, who has time to count calories with a newborn!!?? But, my baby is now 3 months old and it's time! He'll be crawling soon and I need to get in shape so I can keep up with him AND his 2 year old brother, lol.

So, I will begin again with a starting weight of 197. Good luck self!! You can do it!

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. I think hearing peoples stories will reallyhelp me stay motivated. I know I can do it, its just taking that step to start it. I am so comfortable in my bad eating habits. Its hard to get out of that zone, but Im going to do it.
Thanks again!!!

I hear that you are having a staring match with a bag of oreos. The only way to win is to throw them out, give them away or ask someone who loves you to hide them. I will rarely go looking - it is just too pathetic.
