I have changed my eating a lot, mostly for the better. DH and I eat paleo / primal now and both doing well. Gone a bit more bulletproof with a high fat content, minimal protein and low carbs, March 2013.

I'm older and had lost track of my thin self. I previously lost 65 lb and kept it off for a couple years. After a life crisis and changing jobs it seemed ok to stress eat. This has turned in to rewards for anything and a great deal of mindless eating on the sofa.
I am not mindlessly eating anything. I value this body and want to put the amount and kind of food in that it requires. I am not poisoning myself with processed foods or sugar. I did not drink alcohol or soda, so no calories there. I changed to water ~ 20 years ago.
Been clean eating and moved on to paleo over a year ago and no migraines. I have a good thing going here. I eat mostly organic from Safeway. I eat grass fed beef, butter from grass fed beef and naturally raised chicken pasture pork wild fish omega3 eggs.
I eat very high fat of natural fed animal, coconut oil, EVOO, avocado. I eat mod protein. I eat no carb except some vegetables and fruit once in a while. There is no study to date to prove the human body needs any carbs to survive.. You cannot out exercise your mouth. I quit eating mindlessly while sitting on the sofa. I will not snack in the evening. I stopped eating grains Aug 2012 and don't miss anything. DH and I eating Paleo / primal for a year. No meds, no disorders, skin cleared up.

I love to watch movies home and theater. I love my two dogs, Matthew and Bradley are eight years old. They are full of love and I would recommend a dog to most people.

Just had to drop in and say hello. You are still on my Spark Friends from a couple of years ago, and I saw your comment on Erin's blog. I have also found my way to Paleo. It is life changing for me. I am currently on day 25 of a Whole30, but I have been pretty strictly paleo since mid Nov. I am surprised I have not seen you on the Paleo Lifestyle Team. It is by far the best Spark Team I have found. Lots of good insightful discussion, and the team leader presents a wealth to information and links to build discussion around.

It is not an active busy team, but I am OK with that too. It all is what it is. But it is a place where I am trying to share my journey so maybe others can learn from it, if not I am good with that as well. It has taken me awhile to get here, but I have arrived.

I have viewed his videos on this and found him as always, wonderful.
I hit a wall in my health awhile back and started researching again and as well working with a new doctor. After a period of time I actually started adding back in coconut oil and have absolutely no regrets. Slowly I have seen more improvements. I am as well reading a lot of what Dr. Dominic D'agostino is doing and find it so helpful. Keto has it's benefits that is for sure. So many "groups" lack in their understanding that one size does not fit all and some people need healthy fats. Health is a progress and as well an individual journey. I got real tired of hanging with the self anointed righteous and haters. How can a great diet or lifestyle cause a person or a group of people to hate on anyone? The highs and lows of sugar spikes can do that, or always being hungry...poor souls.
I have spent a long time trying to perfect my health. Have learned a great deal and absolutely love what I am doing along this journey. Fun and as well frustrating at times , but as well love the professionals and experts involved in trying so very hard to help with a great message.
I have missed SP, but as well needed the time away to search out what I need to.
