Strong Mind, Strong Body, Stay the Course!

I came on this site to drop 15 lbs. I didn't know how much inspiration, motivation, and friendship I ended up with. This is so much more then eating healthier or exercising. It is about changing your thought process. It's about finding yourself and caring for yourself.

Without goals or dreams, what do we have to look forward to?

You are so right....it is a lot of work. LOL. However, once I get that first hour or so under my belt and eat breakfast, I don't have to worry about them again until, I go to bed. I'm glad I'm back at it too. One day I hope it just clicks for me as you say it will. One can always hope! Keep up the awesome work and have a fantabulous day!

Good Morning! I'm so sorry that it has taken me this long to respond. Sigh. I fell off the wagon again but at least I'm getting back on it quicker this time instead of waiting months. So....here we go. I'm glad that with the meds you are feeling more normal. I am not allowed to eat for an hour after I get up and only then if I take at least 1 cup of water with each set of pills. LOL. I have to take 1 cup of water with my dessicated thyroid when I get up and then wait a half hour and then I have to take this Vitex 80 (to regulate aunt flo) with 1 cup of water and then wait another half hour. Then I need to eat and take all of my medications besides the B12. Now....in regards to the B12, the naturopath said that it doesn't really matter when I take it (with food or without), but you need to dissolve it under your tongue which for mine seems to take forever. So, I've been doing it when I'm going to bed because then I can just leave it there stuck under my tongue and if I fall asleep, no biggie. Wish me luck getting back on track (starting today I might add) and keep up the amazing work yourself!

Good Afternoon Priscilla! It can definitely be frustrating to keep it all straight. I know when I change my meds for any reason it just throws everything off for awhile. The Naturopath asked me to add B12 back into my regimen of vitamins I take because it was on the low side of normal and it would help with my energy level. I haven't figured out yet if I have to take it with food or without food or when. Sigh. I'll have to look it up again I guess. LOL. Keep up the amazing work!
