Working on a healthier ME!

Hi, my name is Monica! I live in Northern Virginia in a suburb of Washington, DC. I am married with 4 children and 1 grandson. I have two children still living at home.

I have started a weight loss journey several times in my life, but I am hoping that this is the last journey I START. Hopefully with the extra support from SP and the teams I have joined I will exceed my previous attempts and reach my goals.

Note that my pictures aren't recent. I don't like taking pictures. These are the only pictures that I have with full body shots at my highest weight. They are also pictures that I actually look happy taking. They were taken at a wedding reception and the camera didn't belong to me or my family!

I can't believe how many pictures I had of myself the last time I lost 25 lbs. Was I happy with myself or what?

I have made up my mind that this is it! I am on my way to a healthier me!

UPDATE: 7/11/2011

Back on the fitness wagon again! Changing my weight ticker to reflect the weight I have gained. My motivation is thriving so I am ready to kick these 20 lbs I have gained to the curb!

Tracking my calories consumed and calories burned.

Using a Bodybugg to track my carlories burned.

Cardio - 4-5x per wk - run/walk intervals & strength training 1-2X per wk.

45 min. of cardio per day.

10,000 steps at least 5 times per week.

Thank you for your comments! The winter is much too long - with some major "hibernation" and lots of excuses going on here! Hopefully this new gym will help me get back in the swing of things!!
