FITNESS IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION. When I came across that saying I knew it had deep meaning. For me it simply means that if fitness is really a goal then it requres a daily committment to achieve. So that is what I am striving for in my life. At 46 years old serious weight training has been a goal of mine ever since I was in my early 20's. Of course at that time period of my life I am trying to get a career going as well as marriage, so needless to say the training kind of took a back seat to all other things. Now that I am at this point in my life, I have decided that my weight training and healthy life style has become more important to me and so I have really been placing a emphasis on it. I started seriously training in September of 2007 and about middle of 2008 I finally realized after hearing it and reading it that just going to the gym was not all there is to healthy lifestyle. I worked with a trainer at my gym and he really started pointing out the importance of healthy eating habits. I started reading and studying what he was talking about and really began to understand the important role it played in the overall scheme. I am now trying to put all phases together and see where I can go with it. Fast forward to 2010. I found a love of road bicycling. This is something my wife and I enjoy doing together. In 2013 I had a major Heart condition that almost cost me my life but thru the Grace of God and the love and support of my wife I am back trying to live a healthy happy life. Now in 2015 and a accumulation of over 4 bikes I have ridden over 17,000 miles.

My Goals:
My goals in my fitness life are to gain lean muscle and reduce body fat percentage. I want to see if I can make a physical transformation in my body.

My Program:
I am doing strength training exercises 5 mornings a week. In the evenings I do cardio and aerobic training along with stretching.

Personal Information:
My wife and I own a construction company. We have had many rewarding years in the business. We like to travel as time permits and we plan on doing alot more of it when the last child is grown and out of the home. In the summer time we like to hop in the Vette and take the top off and just drive as the warm wind rushes thru our hair.

Other Information:
My favorite college football team is the Oklahoma Sooners. My favorite pro basketball team is the newly relocated Oklahoma Thunder. Love to take cruises. I like to read motivational phrases and sayings. I don't leave home with out my Iphone.

    I just saw your wife on the OKC team, and as I was looking over her page, I saw your pic, and then clicked on your pics, thinking you looked like the guy on her page, then... sho' nuff. She mentioned you as her darling hubby.

    So why not join her on the OKC Team as well. We can use all the guys we can get, I am one of the few men on our team that is actually involved.
