My Goals:
Goal 1: For 1 day (today) I will log 10,000 steps on my pedometer.

Goal 2: I will repeat Goal 1 for 7 full days in a row. Wow! Did I just say that?

Goal 3: I will lose 5 pounds.

Goal 4: I will repeat Goals 1-2 until they become a habit, a normal part of my life.

Goal 5: Leave the 300's forever.

Goal 6: Get back to the weight I was when I married. (258)

Goal 7: Leave the 200's forever.

Goal 8: I will make running a part of my life again, when I am physically able to do so.

Goal 9: I will return to my beloved FIT Class.

Goal 10: I will reach my goal weight.

My Program:
I am using Spark People to help me make healthy food choices and to motivate me to literally work my butt off. Since I have such a large amount of weight to lose, I'm setting my ticker to show a goal of losing 10% of my body weight. Then I'll do another 10% and another until I whittle away the whole amount.

Personal Information:
I am a forty-something year old wife and mother living in west central Illinois, along the banks of the Mississippi River. I want to live every day of my life to the fullest. I love God, I love my family and friends, and I love my life.

Other Information:
I read voraciously, garden enthusiastically, knit amateurishly, cook passionately, laugh wholeheartedly, and try to live my life everyday in a way that will bring glory to God who made me and loves me. P.S. He loves you too!

Thank you for the words of encouragement!Now if only those pounds lost was actually losing instead of gaining and losing the same ones repeatedly. It would be something to really celebrate. I'm hoping to close out October by at least getting below 217

emoticon for the support! You're right, I felt a lot better knowing I did something anyway instead of making an excuse. I'm happy knowing I did everything I had set out to do and I stayed true to my eating schedule and when I went into work today I jumped back on the horse and I didn't have an mess ups! Made it a good day!

emoticon for stopping by my blog! I hope I can figure it out soon! It's so frustrating to slowly undo what you've accomplished because of a change you're going through. I'm hoping that by using the shakes I can get my body on a different eating schedule and revamp my system. Hopefully it works, at least until I can start packing my lunch!

Oh my tyvm I need to do more of that to loose more ! My friends doctor told her to do a 20 minute mile walking normal on an upgrade on the tred mill and that would help loose wieght.
