Hi just found you via a message comment you'd made - I'm in the uk and have just joined a gym to keep me exercising through the winter when I can't (or can't be bothered) to run outdoors.

I've found your website also - looks a great resource - although I'm not in London.

Hi there, thanks for your reply! I'm glad you're feeling better it's always horrible when you have an injury and need to be extremely careful when you move. Yes, point to a better technique, so you kill two birds with one stone and not only keep on exercising now but you won't have similar problems in the future (hope so!)

Thanks about the comments on my 6.5 miles walk. My regret is that I can't run more than 0.5 miles before I collapse... but I can walk the whole day briskly without problems. I'll slowly try to increase the amount of running that I do. The odd thing is that when I run on spot using the wii I can run 15 or 20 minutes in a row, but not when I'm on the street, for some very odd reason, which I still have to identify!

Can I ask you a question? I have some fat on my tummy (the so called "loose skin") and some on my legs and knees, and the so called "bingo wings" on my arms. For my arms I'm doing some triceps extensions (I hope they're called this, I lift my body with my arms up and down) and some press ups (but with my knees on the floor, still not strong enough to do it in full!). I'm doing some crunches for my abs, legs lifts for the lower abs and twists for the laterals, and I'm doing some extensions for my legs and glutes. What else can I do to improve with it and not spend a fortune in a gym (where I wouldn't go anyway)? How many times a week you reckon I would need to exercise to lose at least the bingo wings for next May? I'm determined to look well in my wedding dress!

Sorry to bombard you with questions, I will understand if you don't want to answer!

Ooo Edinburgh is nice! Mountains are cool too. Scotland is on my to do list really.. I've been to Edinburgh and mum and I drove up to Aberdeen once (on the most annoying route where you have to go round Glasgow way).. But I don't feel like I've seen much of it.

I had a good time at my mum's thanks. Though she is now quite poorly!
