It sure has been a while since I've heard from you. I hope all is going well and that your absence means you're out enjoying life!

Hey, it was nice to hear from you. I've tried tabata's, they are rough and I don't feel I'm getting as good of a workout as when I do the 30 minutes of varying intensities.

The true tabata protocol says to do 5 minutes of warmup, then 8 minutes of tabatas and a 5 minute cool down for your cardio. That's 18 minutes for the whole round.

I did them for a week but after the 5th or 6th round, I always had to stop and go at a low to moderate intensity for a while. I didn't really see any different results from that.

This week I spent just doing cardio. I got in a short upper body lift, but i spent most of the week playing basketball, racquetball, and tennis. I'm looking forward to sunday being my day off :) I skipped last monday so I've been going the last 5 days without taking a rest day and I'm definitely feeling it :)
