On my way to a new life!

I am wanting to get back into shape and be able to wear a bikini by next summer!! I have two little girls who I adore very much and they are my motivation! Before I had any children I worked out and ran all the time, but sense I had my girls (five years ago) I have not gotten back into. I am determined that I am going to get healthy and good great! :)

It is always hard to be motivated when it is cold and raining. It is so dreary, I completely understand. Do you have a fireplace? Maybe you could do some stretching or yoga moves in front of the fireplace. Perhaps you can get your beautiful children involved, put on some music and dance or create a game that requires jogging around the house. I play ponies with my granddaughters and we have to jog around the house. A little exercise will be better than none and this way you can be warm too!

We do not have any rain where I am, but it is cold! I did a 30 minute exercise video of cardio and weights, thought I would die, but I did it. I had a Doctor appointment today so I walked to the office and obviously I walked back. I feel good I did it, but my groove is in roller coaster mode, it's up, it's down!

Good Morning!

Hope your day has started out awesome! My goal for today is walk to my Doctors appointment, the office is about a 30 minute walk and of course walk home! I also need to make every effort to get all of my water in, I've been a bit lax lately!

I am so proud of you for achieving your goal today. I did walk my dogs today, although I did not make the 3 miles I wanted to I did make it for 2. I still feel like it was a win! Look forward to sharing goals for Tuesday!

Good Morning!

Just thought I would drop in and say HI. I was thinking a good way to help keep ourselves accountable was to choose one "spark" goal a day and let each other know what that goal is. Doesn't matter how big or small, just something that we do for our journey. Then we can check in with each other if we completed that goal and how it went. Thoughts?

My goal for today is to walk my dogs and I am shooting for 3 miles, although I am going to allow myself a .5 mile differential give or take.
