Life long health and wellness!

I am a 40 year old mother of 3 boys. I have struggled with my weight for YEARS. I think I have been so hard on myself that I have just made it worse and worse - eating to feel better when I fail (so Crazy!!!). I am looking forward to incremental changes that don't kill me and just plain old work!

My Goals:
I would LOVE to lose 38 pounds. I would love to feel fit! I am looking forward to more energy!

My Program:
Starting easy: using spark 10 minute workouts every day - with an additional 10 minute strength workout every other day to start. 3 meals a day with "The Perfect Plate" by sparkpeople. Finally, no snacking after 6:30pm.

Other Information:
I love travelling, being outside, my boys, my husband, and reading. I just got a new ereader (kobo) and I am crazy for it!!!

Hi there! Well, I have been a bad girl and have not been on Spark for a while. I just read your comment on my Sparkpage today. I started losing weight in September and did pretty well, losing 25 pounds. Then, around Christmastime (go figure--get it "FIGURE???") I sort of stopped recording stuff and just kept a "mental tally" of calories, etc. Well, I am happy to say that I didn't at least GAIN any weight during these last 2 months, but I have not lost any more. I got sort of complacent because I was just thrilled that I had lost some weight. But my old thought patterns are coming back in full force. So now I am back. I hope to start talking with you more. Hope you are doing well and are still here! :) Thanks for contacting me!
