Hey!

My weight gradually increased to the point where it started to seriously affect my health. My doctor told me I had to lose weight. I was looking for an on-line food tracker and my daughter told me about SparkPeople. So here I am...

I don't follow any particular diet. I just eat real whole foods. I buy organic as much as possible. I limit bad fats, meat and dairy. I avoid processed foods.

I try to walk 15K steps per day and at least 40 minutes of strength training ...

Hi Kathy,
It's always great to hear from you. Today was a nice day with the children performing at their Xmas program. Our granddaughter is in the 1st grade and they did a number "Santa and his Red Canoe"...

Glad you were able to get the snow off the car. I don't know what it's like having to deal with something like that. I've never really experienced snowy weather, so...for me, I just can't imagine what it's like.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
