Healthy Mommy

My name is Kara and I am from Michigan. I am working towards becoming fit and healthy. I am married with two wonderful children! We just had our second in December. I had a natural birth with my son and a c-section with my daughter in December. I am determined to get healthy and fit so I can feel better about myself and keep up with my children!

My main goal is not to lose weight but to become fit so that I will feel comfortable in my own body.

In addition to exercise I am also working on revamping my eating habits. After I gave birth to my son I had some Gallbladder issues and it was removed. After this I was having stomach issues and after some testing I was told I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). With my second pregnancy this really didn't give me any issues but after giving birth my problems are back. I am trying to learn more about clean eating and nutrition. Trying to stay away from processed foods is very hard but I know that with some hard work and determination ( not to feel crampy and bloated) I can do it!

My Goals:
I want to get Fit and Healthy for my family and myself. I would like to show my children how to be healthy and active. I also want to learn to eat healthy and clean.

My Program:
I will be active 5-6 days a week. I am doing the C25K, BodyRocking Daily HIIT and BB programs. Chalean Xtreme is my go to program right now.

Hi there, I am not sure if you are still around, but I found your blog when I was searching gallbladder issues. It is strange but I had my son in July of 2013 and I also had pancreatitis and had to have my gallbladder removed. I am still have issues and hate that I can't eat anything ever without being scared. I have changed my diet completely and still have zero weight loss. I have been busting my butt for two months, and it is so tough! Just thought I would say hi and hope life is treating you well.

My friend is fun, kind, active, vegetarian, all around great gal. She is obsessed with loosin
(g 100 lbs. She considereds herself grossly over weight for 5'8". My problem is that I would love to support her weight loss, but I have not found a nice "skinny" (or inshape) woman yet. Quite frainly, I find that the less fat you have, the meaner you are. I know that as soon as she looses the weight, that's what's going to happen. She even mentions how bitchy she used to be when she was s size 8. What can I do?

Way to go, still getting it done the next morning! =D And you're right! No pain no gain baby! I'm sore today too! Chest was SUPER sore yesterday from doing ZWOW #1 the previous day and I still did my workout and pushed through the soreness! Today now OTHER parts of me are sore! lol! Looking forward to a nice and relaxing yoga session later today =] ahhh!

Cool! I'm glad you still got a workout in! You should definitely try that hands free one =] it rocks!

And you're TOTALLY right about eating right! they say that "abs are 20% in the gym and 80% in the kitchen" and it's so true!!!! Eating healthy is a HUGE part!!! Keep up all the awesome work!! =D
