Update 05-June-2009:

Its June 2009 and I have been struggling at around 133 pounds.. Guess I have hit a plateau.. And I haven't been exercising a lot as usual these days.. I need to be able to increase my workout now.. I know that will help me in many ways.. I am just trying to find the balance between work and life.. Anyone that know the secret of balancing work and personal life can contact me.. I need all your help and encouragement...

Update 15-Oct-2009:
I have been hovering between 132 and 134 for the past few months.. So now I have re-evaluated my starting weight and goal weight.. So, in my new ticker (SW:134 GW:125), I am close to the start.. I hope to get to towards the end some day.. But even if I don't, I will continue my healthy eating and workout habits..

Update 28-Jan-2010:
Oops.. I wish I was in the 132 - 134 range now.. I currently weigh 140 lbs.. Part of it is due to my steroid and other part due to over eating and lack of working-out.. I have been pretty busy at work these days and still trying to find that balance between work and life.. Since my mom is with me I get some time to workout in the mornings. She helps me with most of the cooking.. So my first goal now is not to gain any more weight.. Next I will be shooting towards 135 which is actually my goal for Jan 31st 2010. I may not get to it, but I am working towards it..

Update 25-Feb-2010:

I have been fighting this weight gain and currently fluctuating between 138 and 142.. I may not make it to my goal of 135 lbs on 28th Feb. I guess all my efforts will pay off some day.. I am also learning to reduce the carb in my diet.. But it will take some time to get there..

Update 07-Sep-2012:

So, during the journey of my pregnancy I did put on over 25 pounds. During my last visit, my doctor suggested me to get down atleast 15 pounds to fall into the normal BMI range so that my Blood Pressure is not elevated and there is less strain on my kidneys. With all that's happening in my life, I hardly have the time to workout. I am lucky if I get about 6 hours sleep most nights. So I am using every small opportunity to increase the steps. I am trying to use the stairs instead of the elevators. I have been trying to make changes in the food practice too.. But not able to reduce the calorie intake since my daughter is dependent on me. If I reduce my food intake, I really get tired. So, trying to find a balance there.

Thank you for spending the time to read my blog - I think having just put that blog together - the first time I have actually put the developing story together like that and now the penny has dropped - and I am beginning to realise what I have done!! So - I'm just a bit slow in the uptake!! LOL!!
However it has proved one thing to me that if I can do it anyone can do it and you will find that the results are way beyond your wildest dreams!!
