I decided to get into shape after 2 years of feeling sorry for myself and tired of being tired all the time. The last straw was watching my husband lose 16 pounds in 2 weeks. Ugh! Why can't women lose weight as easily as men!? So, no more self pity. I am extremely determined to succeed in becoming a healthier, more energetic woman! (Not to mention better looking). Thank you for your comment on the husbands and their scale habits. I think my husband drops weight by doing nothing more than giving up coke for a week. NOT FAIR!!

Added you (feel free to add back). I'm male and have a suggestion for your disappointment in weight loss competition against us:

It's not absolute pounds you should be tracking, but percentage of starting weight. We lose faster, but carry more. It's an equalizer. Fair, for the fairer sex.

Keep doing what you are doing! And by the way, I added you. Feel free to add back, but no pressure of course...
