I am retarting my fitness journey today and getting started with Sparkcoach

Between Dec 15th 2007 to May 10th 2008, my weight dropped 30 lbs from a start weight of 194 lbs.

SP is a great place to be in with lots of useful information, resources and motivation.

Saw your comment on the men's group and I am glad to add you as a friend and keep tabs on each other.

I am working my "weigh" through the 260's on my target of 170. It is not a matter of if with me so much as just when. It may be sooner or later, but it will happen.

Glad to help you in your quest as well.

Thanks for commenting! I didn't plan on losing 50 in 6 months, but it happened anyway. For me it was all about controlling the calories and doing cardio 6 days a week.

I'm in maintenance mode now, only doing cardio 3 times a week, and focusing a little more on strength by doing a pullup challenge. I think the key to making this stick fo r me is to not put myself in a situation where the program is too overwhelming to stick with.

Congrats on the marathon, especially since I can't stand running more than a block!!

Hey thanks for the feedback bro. It's been a rough journey, but I've been sticking to my workouts to the best of my ability. Glad to have you back on spark, if you ever need a power bud let me know. I am currently doing ST workouts from P90X and ChaLean Extreme. I mix em up so i don't get sick of doing the same workouts over and over again. Anyways, keep me updated on your progress and keep in touch. ttyl
