I was going to delete my previous intros. Then I realized that they are about my journey. I cannot delete the past like it doesn't exist. I can learn from it and move forward!

This year I WILL see my goal of 130 pounds!!

This year I WILL be able to run again!

Okay, here I am today thinking, am I ever going to see my goal. What is my goal? Is it a number on a scale? No, the true goal is to find what makes me feel good and makes me happy!

I want to comfortably wear a size 4.
I want to be toned.
I want to be able to run again.

I think that's enough for now! I'm going to start focusing on these instead of just what's on the scale. However, the scale wasn't nice this morning.

It's a mighty big word! Have you ever thought about how this can change your life?

Today, May 12, 2014 - I am forgiving myself for everything. I have had an unhealthy relationship with food but you know what, it brought me to this place. I am here today to say that I'm letting go. I am moving forward from today. I cannot dwell on the past. I cannot dwell on any previous relationship that aided in emotional eating. I have loving family; a loving husband and I need to love myself.

I have good qualities and I need to focus on those from here on out:

- I have a big heart
- I have a nice smile
- I love my long, thick hair
- I have strong legs to get me where I need to be

Forgiving myself for any previous mistakes and moving forward.

-Gain strength in my knee to do HIIT exercises again

80/20 Nutrition (moderation for splurges)

Exercise 5-6 days per week

Today, as I am reflecting on what my goals for February should be, I came upon the following quote by Don Lancaster:

Most "impossible" goals can be met simply by breaking them down into bite size chunks, writing them down, believing them, and then going full speed ahead as if they were routine.

Thank you, my dear friend, for believing in me and even call me a persistent "little" lady! I love it, so now just need to have the right enough persistence and I'll be in business. I think that I remember you saying that you had gained 30#. And you've taken some back off, right?! Your page is beautiful, by the way. I'm so excited once I can really work this knee again. So far it's just doing the exercises for it and the walking around that I normally do in a day. I love the pretty much, no pain. It's fabulous!! I know that you've gone through some struggles too, with your knee and with us both in the same boat, we have all this more in common.
