Keep Your Eye On The Prize!

I never realized just how difficult this journey was going to be. I thought for sure I would make my goal weight with ease. Hmmmmm, here it is 4 years later and I am so so close yet so far! This is by far the toughest part of the journey.

I never realized just how difficult this journey was going to be. I thought for sure I would make my goal weight with ease. Hmmmmm, here it is 4 years later and I am so so close yet so far! This is by far the toughest part of the journey.

I started this journey June 2008. I could hardly walk one lap around the gym track without being out of breath. I started with walking 3 days a week and then 3 months later added a few strength training exercises and later progressed to working out 6 days a week both cardio and strength training. I went from a size 12 to a size 4 with tons of energy now.

So far I have lost 47 pounds and gaining a sculpted physique. I have struggled with loosing those last 5 pounds. I am mentally ready to get serious now and once and for all get to the weight I need to be at.

I am looking forward to dropping those last 5 pounds and having some fun along the way. My goal for 2013 is to finally reach my goal weight and rock it in a bikini! I CAN DO THIS!

My Goals:
My current short term goal is to lose those last 5 pounds and rock it in a 2 piece swimsuit for the summer of 2013.

My Program:
I workout at the gym 6 days a week 1 hr a day.

My workout includes:
Mon: Cardio
Tues: Strength Training Full Body
Wed: Cardio
Thur: Strength Training Full Body
Fri: Cardio
Sat: Strength Training Full Body
Sun: Rest

Personal Information:
I live in Vancouver, WA with my husband and 3 beautiful children.

I currently am a stay at home mom until I find employment again.

My gym of choice is LA Fitness. They have a great deal on childcare and love the sauna.

Awww thank you on saying I look so young! I'm 33 and I have a 12 almost 13 year old. Had her when I was 20 and felt like a teen mom. She is really great though just very strong willed and strong minded. I think I'm a part of the P90X team but haven't really posted on there. I need to though. I love P90X! I think it is such a great well rounded program. Tony Horton is so much fun too!

Thanks for the encouragement on my kick your sweet tooth challenge! I cut up an apple and doused it in cinnamon and cooked it in the microwave one day when i was having a craving and that did the trick and filled me up too! The pb and banana thing helps me too. And chobani yogurt! While the pb and yogurt have sweeteners in them, they are all natural and not white sugar so I'm good with them. Thanks for the advice! :)
