Motivated to look better and to be healthier

I think that years of sitting at a desk in front of a computer, snacking at work has finally caught up with me! While I am a person that loves the gym and loves working out I was not getting results...because I was not keeping track of what I was eating and I was becoming frustrated with the fact that I was not getting the results that I wanted inspite of the amount of time that I was spending in the gym.

Now that I have joined Spark People and I have started to track the foods ...
I think that years of sitting at a desk in front of a computer, snacking at work has finally caught up with me! While I am a person that loves the gym and loves working out I was not getting results...because I was not keeping track of what I was eating and I was becoming frustrated with the fact that I was not getting the results that I wanted inspite of the amount of time that I was spending in the gym.

Now that I have joined Spark People and I have started to track the foods that I consume I now REALIZE why I was not getting the results that I wanted...The Calories that I was consuming from fast food or from just not keeping track of what I was eating was an eye opener for me.

I used to LOVE to take pictures and to be photographed but now that I've gained 20 lbs I can't stand having my picture taken any more and I don't like the way that my clothes fit either. I know that being over weight even by 20 lbs is unhealthy. So I am motivated by the fact that I want to look better and be healthier!
