Welcome back to SP and congratulations on taking time for your own health. I also was on SP for a couple of years, but quit 3 years ago (oh--big mistake.) Going slowly down in weight is still much better than going up after giving up. I used to have the mindset that I had to drop weight quickly---8 lbs. a month, at least!! And got discouraged when results were much slower (like 3 lbs a month.) Still, I was shocked a couple of days ago when I re-started (under the same name) and find that I've gained 35 lbs. since I left.
So I know I have to be in it for the long haul. When I looked around at my old friends who are still on SP, they've all done well over the last 3 years.....mainly by hanging in there! You can do it!! And I need to do it too!! 1090 days ago
