In 2002 I weighed 250lbs. Over the years, my weight fluctuated and I had a negative relationship with food. In December 2008, I realized I needed to change my lifestyle and gain control of my health. By using Body for Life by Bill Phillips, I was able to reach my goal of weighing 140lbs over the course of 10 months. Not only was I able to reach my weight loss goal, but I was also able to run a 10k.

I now have a healthy son born March 2012 and am ready to lose my pregnancy weight. I have lost 32 pounds so far (combination of giving birth and diet modification) and am looking to lose from 27-32lbs. More importantly, I want to gain back the muscles that have atrophied!!

I am ready for a change!!!

I had my son on 3/7/12 and for now am cleaning up my diet and doing Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred until I feel ready to perform high intensity workouts.


Body for Life by Bill Phillips

Calories: 1200-1300kcal/day, mostly protein and complex carbs. One free day a week to eat whatever I want.

H20: 64 oz daily minimum

Run 3x per week

Weight train 3x per week alternating upper and lower body


Other Information:
Starting P90X... Hoping to gain strength and muscle definition!
