I am on track, ready for the next challenge!

I have been trying to lose weight for years without success; I know, the same old story. I have just moved to across the country on a new adventure and ready to make some other serious changes. I am tired of being tired, worn out, unable to go for a long walk without feeling like I have been hit by a truck! And with all of the gorgeous scenery where I live, there are mountains to climb and trails to be hiked and biked! I have two pugs and they are the loves of my life - and I would like to ...

My Goals:
My long term goal is to get to a healthy weight, somewhere around 135-150, and maintain that! I am currently on my second short term goal of 20 pounds lost, making my total over 40 pounds, which I hope to achieve by August, 2012.

I would love to participate in the Warrior Dash, or the Spartan Race, as well as ride in a Goldilocks Bike Run.



My Program:
I am currently working with a personal trainer at my local gym. He has taught me more about nutrition and resistance training, which has catapulted my wight loss! I am doing resistance training 3 days a week, and cardio 3-5 days a week. Plus I walk anywhere between 3 and 8 miles a day.

Personal Information:
I have just recently moved to Seattle, Washington from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am loving the Northwest! There is so much to do, and I love the people! I try to be environmentally conscientious, and try to spread the word to be responsible in all areas of our lives. We are all only renting these bodies and this planet, so we should take care of it for the next group!
