Here we go again...

I made a lot of progress with SP until I hit a few speed bumps three years ago and got myself waaaaaaaay off track. I suppose the good news is that I didn't gain back every last ounce that I had lost, but the bad news is that I've fallen out of the healthy habits that were making me feel so good! I've become a couch potato! Waaaaaaaaaaah!

So.

Back at 'er!

Enough with this pudge! I really miss the confidence that fitness brings, that feeling of ...

Enough with this pudge! I really miss the confidence that fitness brings, that feeling of readiness, that ol' jump in the step (not to mention those great jeans in the closet... I can hear 'em callin'...).

I know that when I am fit I can deal with stress better, be more productive, feel better about everything. I know that I will feel that more is more easily within my reach.

Life is too short and too sweet to live it out of shape.

Check out the new thread in "Introduce yourself to Team", "Why do you want to lose weight?" Your team challenge for Nov. 15-21 is to answer this question and gain an extra 20 points for next week. Make it to yourself. Let yourself know why you want this.

Reducer Pop up Challenge: Earn an extra 5 points per day when you get a perfect 7 points on your daily challenges. That can earn you up to an extra 35 points for this week. emoticon

Okay. According to the slide show on sleep on Spark today, here's what you can try:

No caffeine at lest 6 hours before bed.
No t.v. or computer for an hour before bed.
Journal or read before bed to quiet the mind.
Try white noise or music to sleep by.
Have a bedtime routine.
Cover that clock! Don't let checking the time keep you up all night.
And I can't remember the rest.

I feel your pain. I've just begun covering my digital clock and it's making a difference. Once I see the time, my brain starts planning the day. If I don't see it, my brain tells me to go back to sleep. Awesome. Good luck! emoticon
