A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

There is always a beginning; that beginning is always ONE STEP. No matter what you are doing, the beginning is ONE STEP. That ONE STEP is always the hardest. Each step afterward is easier as they are taken.

There comes a time in our life when we wake up and something is different. We wake up and realize that it's time to stop the excuses. Time to take responsibility for our lives and what we do with our days. We need to stop saying that the reason we are fat is because we "have no time", "it's too hot", "it's too late", "I don't have any exercise equipment". STOP!! It's time to let go of the excuses. It's time to take a long hard look at what the truth is. Are we really trying as hard as we can? Have we really done everything we can do? Are we really so lost that there is NOTHING that can be done? Come on. Let's be honest with ourselves. That's the real first step here. Honesty. Be honest with the fact that the only thing that got us here was US! WE are the reason we are where we are now and looking for a way to drop those pounds. The next door neighbor didn't do this. The time of the year didn't do this. Father Time didn't do this. We did this. We did this by not moving and eating too much of the wrong things. It's time to take responsibility for this. Stare at it in the face.

Now we can change. Now we can take the steps to do what we need to in order to get healthy. Keep one thing in mind. We didn't get fat overnight, we aren't going to get thin overnight either. All it takes is an hour a day. An hour! We have 23 left to do with what we want...come on, how can you not have time for that. It takes longer to plan a funeral than that. Get my point? Our friends and family will mourn for us for more than an hour. Catch my drift? It's worth it. The pain, the sweat, the tears....it's all worth it. I haven't hit my goal yet, but, darnit, it's so worth it. I have lost over half of what I need to. I have about 25 pounds to go and I can tell you all that it is so worth it. One hour a day has given me so much more. It's given me focus, a purpose, years added to my life. One hour a day. How doable is that?? I can't stress enough how worth it all of this is. I have more confidence, more energy, I am excited about my future. I am ready to live my life....REALLY live my life. I am looking forward to losing these last 25 pounds.

My name is Kristy and I am so ready to finally live my life the way I am supposed to be. My goal is to be a personal trainer to help others take that first step to living their life too. I am ready to be reborn. I am ready to be the woman I am meant to be. With Amaya by my side...NOTHING can stop me!

My Goals:
My goals are to get down to a weight that I feel comfortable with. probably between 120 and 130 will be fine. I also want to make sure I look healthy.

My Program:
I am working hard, doing cardio on my Gazelle five times a week. I am also doing strength by doing the Bean Flex 10 three days a week. I am keeping myself motivated by keeping my goals in the front of my mind!

Personal Information:
I have a dark side that hides in the shadows. I love horror movies and heavy metal. Funny thing is...I wouldn't hurt a fly. I lean toward the Buddhist teachings. I am in a partnership with Amaya and have been for eight and a half years now.

Other Information:
I love games, writing, role playing....

Hey,

I saw you on the writers workshop team and wanted to invite you to another team (okay so it's mine!) because I'm about to start Script Frenzy this April and need something to keep me on track. The workshop will keep me writing but I need a challenge to go with it and yet want some people who know what it's like to combine writing and staying fit.
