Thanks for commenting on my blog! My hubby and I usually manage to walk almost every morning, but without my treadmill running, I'm afraid it isn't enough. Especially since we usually eat more than usual at the same time. I am looking forward to my visit in my hometown (especially since we will be there for the annual Sweet Corn Festival!)
LOL. About that definition of a "healthy" BMI - I know that below 30 it can depend a lot on body composition, so to be safe I like to tell people to just get under 30.
For whatever stupid reason I have been holding myself to a different standard and finally realized that my advice is sound and that I should take it, too! LOL
Having said that, I do want to see if I can get back down to where I was last year, at 17-19% body fat, which corresponded to between 150 and 155 lbs.
Once I get there I'd like to see if I can maintain it. But honestly this is just to improve athletic performance and not necessary for just life. So if it's too hard to sustain, I'll bump my expectations back up to something I can do... 1966 days ago
