One Day at a Time

I am dealing with a nutrutional disease/condition that means I need to GAIN weight, but I still want to be fit. I am taking up biking - for pleasure, exercise, and transportation. In the fall, I will also be going to the gym for weight training.

My Goals:
**Bike 60+ miles in August
**Monitor my blood sugar for hypoglycemia
**Work in my garden for at least 30 minutes a week
**Maintain a weight of 140-150 with the knowledge that I will lose weight as my exercise goes up. Reconsider the weight goal in a month.

My Program:
Right now, I am accompanying my DH on his daily walks as he recovers from surgery. I am also trying to bike as much as possible. We walk or bus everywhere we need to go (no vehicle currently), so I want to include riding my bike from bus stops for solo errands.
