My Goals:
I started May 2009 at 203lbs Lost/maintained a very healthy weight till I was injured in November 2010. Sedated for a month in the hospital, then confined to bedrest. December 2011 back surgery bed rest due to complications in April 2012 the lumbar puncture finally heals I can stand up with out getting an instant spinal headache. May 2012 100 steps a day physiotherapy is my second home now.June 2012 decided it is time to set my long term goal even with the limited function and mobility.
September 2013 set back from injury I gained back what I lost plus now I am at my heaviest ever 210 Lbs I will not quit I will start again. I can get my life back no matter what the doctors say I will get better. My Goal: To lose 100 Lbs in 12.5 months 2 lbs/week Sept 11th 2013 starting weight 210lbs
Sept 24 2014 Final Weigh In Goal Weight 110 lbs
Smaller then the goal weight maintained before the injury. I will post my loss weekly . I have lost the weight with an able body now to show tha

Happy Friday! Control is a tough issue for a lot of us. We can control some of what we do, but we can’t control everything! Keep pushing towards your goals. Even if you do not reach all of them, don’t give up! You can alter your goals or make new ones! Do your best to keep a positive and/or realistic attitude. You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL!

Wow, reading your blog, I can tell you are very much doing what you should be, and look at what you've done, or are doing...there are many people who wouldn't come close to that.

You are a true inspiration to others; just as an example, look at what you've accomplished!

I am at 55 steps in a day not all at one time but through out the day.
-I can now stand for 30-60 seconds before pain ends it
-I can now sit for 10-15 seconds before pain ends it.

Think of where you were at when you started, this is fantastic. Don't lose faith in yourself or God, you will defeat this, don't let anything defeat you! And remember, if you want to talk, just message me, I'm here.

So glad you got caught up on the Spark mail. Sometimes things just happen it takes awhile. My granddaughter comes over so much she thinks she belongs to us and she looks at the spark pages with me sometimes.

Thank you so much for the email. I am better and the coughing is down some. The medicine makes me sleepy though and I don't like that at all. But progress is still progress and I appreciate the get well wishes email you sent. It really does help

I hope you are also doing well and things are Sparkling for you emoticon
