2016 Time to make it happen!

I've been overweight since having my children 25 years ago.
I am working on purging my home and purging my body of this extra fat.

I just need to be kind to myself and realize I am an all or nothing person. As soon as I go off track in anyway I then just swerve off into a ditch. Got to stop this. The journey will have ups and downs but I will do this! I will not let the small slip ups derail all my hard work.

1. make goals 7 days at time
2. post foods daily read blogs and articles
3. lean meats ,lots of veg, and moderate fruit
4. avoid etoh and soda
5. keep calorie intake 1100-1500
6. no eating 8pm and after.
7. exercise 3 times a week at least

Personal Information:
I am a creative artsy fartsy kind of person, so to have to be deliberate in my weight lost journey is hard for me.. I'm like a leaf in the wind, flitting here and there.. but now need to settle down and be come the "rock" take the time to plan.. and put the work in.. this is what I am figuring out about myself!

I feel ya! We're close in age, in amount of weight we want to lose, and--as another artsy-fartsy, creative type--I face a lot of the challenges you captured in your notes. Food as fuel, not entertainment, indeed. Or consolation. Or substitute for, well, anything else I wish I had at hand.
