Just another day on the crazy train to fitness. I will not be derailed.

For the past 2 years I've been working on losing 90 pounds. I made some pretty steady and great progress on it for a year and a half by really focusing on nutrition and crazy amounts of exercise. There were some ups & downs, and with the support of my cute boy, I felt great (most days) about the progress I was making. Then late last spring, life got ridiculously crazy and all that focus went out the window. By the end of last year I'd gained about about 10 lbs of the 60 that I'd worked so ...
By the end of last year I'd gained about about 10 lbs of the 60 that I'd worked so hard to get rid of...and I was seriously pissed, frustrated, and feeling very helpless about it. This January I decided to really get motivated again. And it sucked. But it was starting to work.

Aemilia invited me to SparkPeople a week later, which was perfectly timed. I'd been using a different website for fitness and diet tracking, but it didn't have the community aspect. And I'm astounded by how well it works as a motivational tool.

For several months, I obsessively used SP, tracked food & exercise, and re-lost that weight. Even though summer hit and I got distracted again, I have managed to keep my weight pretty steady.

But now new inspiration to lose that last 25-35 lbs has arrived in the form of looking spectacular in my wedding dress next June! I've abandoned SP a bit, due to using Nike+ and a non-internet calorie tracker on my iTouch, but I still check in here every so often.

And Gorn thought that Gorn & Morgan!! were the only 2 people on the planet to take photos in front of National Forest (and/or State Park) signs! How very rugged and cute we all are.

Nice Sparkpage!
