Making 2013 different!

Hi everyone! I'm back along with all the other New Year Resolution people. Last year I didn't focus on diet and instead exercised regularly with a trainer. Needless to say, exercise alone doesn't cut it and I gained 10 pounds over the year. Most of the weight gain happened in the last 3 months of 2012 when my Mother-in-Law died. I'm a stress eater and between her death, a stressful job and the holidays, I added the 10 pounds. Although it doesn't seem like that much, on top of my already too big ...
Hi everyone! I'm back along with all the other New Year Resolution people. Last year I didn't focus on diet and instead exercised regularly with a trainer. Needless to say, exercise alone doesn't cut it and I gained 10 pounds over the year. Most of the weight gain happened in the last 3 months of 2012 when my Mother-in-Law died. I'm a stress eater and between her death, a stressful job and the holidays, I added the 10 pounds. Although it doesn't seem like that much, on top of my already too big body, it is causing foot, heel and knee problems. Wonderful.

So here I am. With my busy lifestyle, measuring and counting foods are my weakness, so I am trying to low carb it so I don't have to measure. I will focus on eating mostly lean proteins and vegetables. My plan is to continue to work out a minimum of 3x week but my target is 4x. With my intense workouts and the low carb, it will work if I stay committed. Let get 'er done Sparkees!

Well, I didnt walk. My ankle is giving me a heck of a time. I called my doc to get a new script. Thinking about doing light weights until ankle swelling goes down.
