Making 2013 different!

Hi everyone! I'm back along with all the other New Year Resolution people. Last year I didn't focus on diet and instead exercised regularly with a trainer. Needless to say, exercise alone doesn't cut it and I gained 10 pounds over the year. Most of the weight gain happened in the last 3 months of 2012 when my Mother-in-Law died. I'm a stress eater and between her death, a stressful job and the holidays, I added the 10 pounds. Although it doesn't seem like that much, on top of my already too big ...
Although it doesn't seem like that much, on top of my already too big body, it is causing foot, heel and knee problems. Wonderful.

So here I am. With my busy lifestyle, measuring and counting foods are my weakness, so I am trying to low carb it so I don't have to measure. I will focus on eating mostly lean proteins and vegetables. My plan is to continue to work out a minimum of 3x week but my target is 4x. With my intense workouts and the low carb, it will work if I stay committed. Let get 'er done Sparkees!

BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AWARD"

Hi! Just a shout out to congratulate you!

You are the recipient of the Beautiful Woman Award!!

"Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the page of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out!"

Again, Congratulations Beautiful!

Thanks for spreading a little beauty, love, friendship, and support into my life!

Hi, thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog about the inches. I have to agree with you, my clothes are getting loser and loser and that to me is more of an indication than the numbers on a tape measure, where I may have positioned it differently the first time.
Have a great week

Well thanks for stopping by my page.... if you feel incredibly bored I have covered a lot of low carb struggles in my blog over the past year. Don't let anyone tell you low carb is unhealthy (something I commonly came across in my journey). Do your research and most of all, enjoy feeling good. It doesn't come without struggle (as with any diet or new lifestyle) but it has been well worth it. I don't stuggle with extreme humger (just my sweet tooth) and feel a million times better. I just had to learn the simplest work and stick by it "No." If you can get through your first month you'll find it gets a lot easier. Good luck!
