I just read your todays blog and I noticed that you are starting to take up running...that is awesome! I love to run, you should come and check out Road Runners forum.. There are runners of all stages there, I find them to be such a motivational bunch. Especially right now that I have a knee injury and have to limit my running milage. I injured my knee due to playing soccer. Congrats on all the weight that you have lost! Keep up the awesome progress!
Hi Karen, Thanks for your email. I just got back from 2 days in Brandon - I work remotely for a company there. I am doing quite well. I have lost 4 pounds and seem to be holding steady. Your 8 pound loss is wonderful, and I find I fluctuate quite regularly, as most people, particularly women, do. I was stuck at 3 down for quite awhile, but this morning another pound was gone - yippee! I am still on Phase One of SB and was able to stick with it in spite of 2 restaurant visits in Brandon. I didn't have my doggie with me to force me out for a walk, but I went anyway. Consistent exercise is the key, as well. Keep up the great work, and yes, let's keep in touch and motivate each other. Karen, Congrats on losing 2 pounds a week - that is really awesome and not unhealthy at all. WW recommends 1-2 pounds a week if you are doing everything correctly. I must be doing something wrong since I am not losing anything. I have been running and walking alot and my husband says I am just building muscle, but I only half believe that.
