I am 44 and so far have lost just over 20 lbs on spark people. I still have another 20 or so to go. I have reached some significant milestones on my journey so far. I went down two clothing sizes, fit into my favorite jeans and have a workout schedule that I stick to. I treat myself to one meal a week where I make choices to stray off plan just for the meal. The very next moment, I get right back on plan. I am so looking forward to spring and summer 2011 because I plan on taking advantage of outdoor activities and reaching my final goal during the summer.

My Program:
Eat smarter and healthier without depriving myself of food groups. Eat in moderation MOVE MORE and see progress regularly.

I really do eat what I want but very aware of portions. I cook and pack most of my meals and eat almost no processed foods.



Personal Information:
I'm a 44 year old yo yo dieter and I live in New Jersey. I am married and have a 13 year old boy and a 15 year old boy. I am an accountant so I am very sedentary at work so I have to add movement to my day in other ways.


Other Information:
I like to cook but my 13 year old is a picky eater. I have challenges in trying to cook healthy foods that everyone will eat or at least try. My husband and I LOVE onions but my kids hate them and there is often an "onion struggle" in the house! LOL.
