Never going back to okay!

i have actually been apart of sparkpeople since January 08. in the year of 2008 i lost 56 pounds. but i have now been stuck on a plateau in the 280's since SEPTEMBER i've been exercising but apparently not eating right. my biggest stronghold is CANDY. i can pretty much go a whole day without eating any real food and just eating candy. well today i decided i'm done. i am determined to get out of these 280s once and for all. so i started a new account to truly start fresh. my first goal is that ...
i have actually been apart of sparkpeople since January 08. in the year of 2008 i lost 56 pounds. but i have now been stuck on a plateau in the 280's since SEPTEMBER i've been exercising but apparently not eating right. my biggest stronghold is CANDY. i can pretty much go a whole day without eating any real food and just eating candy. well today i decided i'm done. i am determined to get out of these 280s once and for all. so i started a new account to truly start fresh. my first goal is that i am bound and determined to be at most 279 at the end of March. that is two and a half weeks to lose 8 pounds, i am perfectly capable of doing that. then my second stretch will be to be at most 271 at the end of April. i am so ready for a change and start seeing the rewards of my hard work. GO ME!!!

My Goals:
First and foremost i am losing the candy and all sugar for the most part. my addiction is very similar to an alcoholic.
Then just follow the pattern. eat right, excerise, try to minimize carbs and up protein. use common sense. and always think first.

Have you been able to get closer to your goals? Or did you get to even meet your goals? I’ve been working pretty hard all summer. I’ve gotten closer to my goal.. but I’m not quite there yet. I found this really cool quote online and so I decided I wanted to share it.

Hey! I haven't been around for a while, either. :) It's going pretty well. I'm keeping up with my c25k... almost done with week 4! Last week I ate everything I wanted and more, ugh, but this week I am in more control-yay for getting back on track. How are things on your end?

I just went to Arkansas to visit my bf for my birthday. I didn't do toooooo bad with eating... I only had a small piece of cake and didn't stuff myself like usual. But I didn't drink nearly enough water and only exercised once. The scale was up a little this morning... ugh. It's kind of a startling lesson... you are right, it is so much quicker to gian weight than to lose it!
