Here is to a fresh start. I'm not going to feel guilty about the past and only focus on developing healthy habits going forward. I'm taking this slow this time - nothing obsessive, small changes show lasting results.

It is time to turn this all around. My goals are these:

-Be Healthy!
-Be Confident!

My Goals:
I am looking at losing around 90 - 100 lbs. I will decide what my final goal is once I get down there and see how I feel.

My goal is to not be skinny - but to be healthy and confident.

My Program:
This is a lifestyle change!

I'm planning on making healthier choices, but not calorie count. I'm not restricting myself as I'm trying to learn how to eat "normally." In the past, I focused too much on how many calories and not on what I needed nutritionally. I'm not going to restrict myself too much since that is how I have failed in the past - just live in moderation.

Most of all - I'm trying to work on my mental/emotional outlook. I'm trying to turn any negatives thoughts/feelings into positive - which is hard, but crucial. I'm sick of the self-hate that I have allowed myself to have for so long. I need to love myself and not care what other people think - this journey needs to be about me....

Thanks for checking in with me. My day was successful. I did really well. I was nervous but I made a good choice and stayed away from everything else!!!! I was really proud of myself. :)

Hi, Thanks for checking on me. I am ok. My counselor and I are tweaiking my program a tad bit so I ll update my blog. Its a pain in the butt trying to get used to these pills but I have to give it another month to adjust.

I'm so glad you understand! I mean...I know they're children. I know. I don't know how old they are, I have very little experience with kids and can NOT guess ages lol, but still...if they're old enough to walk and talk, they should be old enough to know it's rude to stare, rude to point. And I was SO close to going out there and saying, "Excuse me, can I help you? You keep looking at me, so I thought you needed something." Or something like that. If it happens again, I will go out and say something to the leader.

Which, by the way, is very hard for me...I'm incredibly shy and don't like confrontation, but even more so, I hate being "objectified" lol.

So yeah, again, thank you so much for your encouragement, it means a lot! I think that my Y does have the Coach Approach, but they way the woman described it, it sounded like I'd have to pay eventually or something? so I said no. But I'll look into it. It would be lovely to know how the machines work and not look like a noob when I go in there. I was surprised, they didn't even give me a tour of the facility, like, "That door goes to the pool, that door leads to the gym, that door leads to so-and-so, locker rooms are here." Oh well, I'll figure it out ;)
