My Initial goal is to lose 2.5 stone (35 pounds) by my 50th Birthday (10th March 2014).
I am logging my food on SparkPeople and keeping within my calorie allowance. When I feel I need to eat more, I have to exercise to get more calories. I am choosing healthier options to help the calories go further and to eat more nutritiously.
I am Nordic Walking with a group for one hour twice a week. I am doing Martial arts training 3 or 4 times a week.
I am also adding in some Beachbody DVDs.
I live in the South West of the UK and work from home. I have two grown up children, one still at home. I have two dogs and 3 cats (far too many animals but that's another story).
This time around I am embracing everything on the SparkPeople website to change my life once and for all. In October I achieved 500 fitness minutes so my goal for November is 1000 fitness minutes.

Hi, I just thought I would pop by and welcome you to the Chair Exercise Team. There are lots of helpful suggestions here, and very supportive members. I am glad you have chosen to join. Best wishes in your journey to health.
I've lost the plot big time over the weekend too so am determined to start again tomorrow. I've got my diet & ex class in the evening so that will be a kick up the backside to get going again. How about we do it together?
