Getting fit, healthy and fighting Fibromyalgia at the same time....

I've spent the year after diagnosis (April 2010) wallowing in pity and pain. After meds and supplements and learning all I can about my condition I have decided to take hold of my life and find the healthiest way to suceed and live a normal life. This is a big step and, since I have to live with this "syndrome", I'll be damned if I 'm going to let it suck anymore life out of me!

Losing the weight will help my joints feel less stressed, eating better will help me keep my energy levels up when the Fibro wants to knock me on my butt and working out will make my body stronger so the flares will come less frequently. I'm ready to start this new journey!

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I'm adding you as well. I hope that we can help each other along the way.
As far as my girls go, they love all sorts of veggies. Big Girl has to have 4 colors on her plate at every meal. And I keep both fruit and veggies cut up in bowls in the fridge so they have easy access to good food. If I could only get their mom on the same page I'd have it made, lol.
I just noticed that you're a FLYbaby. I was going to tell you how much easier it was to take care of my home since I found her. I'm using the same technique to exercise. Except for my water aerobics, I just do things for a few minutes at a time. It adds up after a while.
